Maintenance dues by UPI
Residents pay through Razorpay (UPI, cards or net banking) and get an invoice and receipt. Admins see who has paid and send reminders to the rest.
Visitor pre-approval
Residents pre-approve guests, deliveries and cabs. Guards verify a pass code or QR at the gate; walk-ins are approved by the resident from the app.
English and Telugu
The app can be switched between English and Telugu, which helps senior residents, staff and guards who are more comfortable in Telugu.
Helper attendance
Guards log daily staff check-ins and check-outs, and residents see the attendance history for their helpers.
Emergency SOS
A hold-to-confirm SOS button alerts the society's admins and guards, who can acknowledge, call back and resolve the alert.
Complaints with SLAs
Water, lift, power-backup and parking complaints are assigned, tracked against an SLA and escalated if they sit too long.
The details
Why we built Community Hub in Hyderabad
Hyderabad's housing has changed quickly. Large gated communities along the IT corridor in Gachibowli, Kondapur, Nanakramguda, Kokapet and Tellapur sit alongside older apartment associations in Ameerpet, Himayatnagar and Secunderabad, and villa layouts on the city's edges. Most of them are run by volunteer committees juggling the same three things: collecting maintenance, controlling who comes through the gate, and keeping hundreds of residents informed.
In many of these communities, those jobs still run on a mix of a paper visitor register, a treasurer's spreadsheet and a WhatsApp group that half the residents have muted. Community Hub puts them in one app with separate views for residents, committee admins and security guards.
Telugu matters here
A lot of the people who keep a Hyderabad society running — guards, housekeeping staff, plumbers, and many senior residents — are more comfortable reading Telugu than English. The Community Hub app can be switched between English and Telugu, so the same screens work for a committee member who prefers English and a guard who prefers Telugu. We wrote more about this in our post on bilingual society management.
Registration and records
Hyderabad associations are usually registered under the Telangana Societies Registration Act, 2001, while apartment ownership itself is governed by the Andhra Pradesh Apartments (Promotion of Construction and Ownership) Act, 1987 as it applies in Telangana. Community Hub doesn't replace your bye-laws or your auditor, but it keeps the records they ask for in one place: dues and receipts, expenses, notices, poll results and shared documents.
Getting started
A committee member registers the community, adds blocks and units, and invites residents. New communities get a 3-month trial, and we migrate your existing resident and dues data for free so nobody has to retype a spreadsheet.
Frequently asked questions
Is Community Hub free for Hyderabad societies?+
The app is free to download on iOS and Android, and new communities get a 3-month trial. Contact us for pricing after the trial.
Is the app available in Telugu?+
Yes. Community Hub can be used in English or Telugu, and each person can choose the language they are comfortable with.
How do residents pay maintenance?+
Inside the app, through Razorpay: UPI, debit or credit cards, or net banking. Each payment gets an invoice and receipt, and admins can also record cash payments so the books stay complete.
Can guards use it at the gate?+
Yes. Guards have their own view to verify pre-approved visitors by pass code or QR, request approval for walk-in visitors, log helper attendance and receive SOS alerts.
Which areas of Hyderabad do you support?+
Any community in Hyderabad, Secunderabad and Cyberabad, and anywhere else in India. There is nothing city-specific to install.
